Massive search launched in Bandipora village | KNO

Bandipora, February 23 (KNO): Government forces on Saturday launched a major Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in Gundpora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Reports reaching KNO said that Army's 144 RR, and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir launched a joint operation in the Gundpora village of Bandipora District. They said that massive deployment of forces has been made in the town and house-to-house searches were going on. An official told KNO that the CASO was launched following “specific” inputs about the presence of militants in the area. Searches were going on when last reports came.(KNO)
